Since it was first published in 1987, My Place by Nadia Wheatley and Donna Rawlins has become an Australian classic.
A Children's Book Council Book of the Year, it traces the history of a small piece of land from the present day back into Aboriginal time, through the stories of the many children who lived there.
Nadia Wheatley's new book, Making My Place, shows how this beautiful picture book became a 13-part television series to be screened across the nation.
