Meet Nate Wright: 11-year-old class clown, self-described genius, and the all-time record-holder for school detentions!
Big-head Nate truly believes he is destined for greatness. He's a table tennis champ, a genius comic-book artist and the self-proclaimed king of his class.
And a little thing like having-the-worst-day-ever won't hold back the Boy with the Biggest Head in the World!
The Big Nate comic strip appears in 200 newspapers across the United States, and Nate features on the website poptropica.com, which has over 200,000 users in Australia and 20 million visits worldwide!
With black-and white-illustrations, comics, and doodles throughout, The Boy with the Biggest Head in the World sees Big Nate blazing an unforgettable trail through his school, in the first of a hilarious new six-book series!
About the author: Lincoln Peirce (pronounced purse) began creating comics in the sixth grade (just like Big Nate!). He went on to teach art at a New York City High School. Lincoln created the cartoon-strip character Big Nate in 1991, naming the character after a nickname he gave his older brother as a kid. He lives in Portland, Maine, in the US, and as well as creating Big Nate comic strips and books he hosts a local radio show.
