MUSICAL WHODUNNIT SET TO THRILL!
A hilarious musical who-dunnit is set to charm Sydney audiences when CURTAINS makes its NSW premiere at Hornsby RSL in May.
From the award-winning creators of Cabaret and Chicago comes the Hornsby Musical Society production of the hilarious, toe-tapping and Tony Award-winning musical.
Following up their hugely successful recent productions of Leader of the Pack and Little Shop of Horrors, HMS presents this latest musical hit by Kandor and Ebb from 20-29 May.
Curtains is a musical send-up of backstage murder mystery plots, set in 1959 Boston, Massachusetts and follows the fallout when the supremely untalented star of Robbin' Hood of the Old West is murdered during her opening night curtain call.
Can a police detective - who moonlights as a musical theatre fan - save the show, solve the case, and maybe even find love before the show reopens, without getting killed himself?
Directed by Jane Mullen with musical direction by Andy Peterson and Chris BamfordÂs spectacular choreography, CURTAINS features James Ford, Cara Dibdin, Anne Wilson, Sue Rowe, Daniel Placido, Stephen Kreamer, Philip Youngman, Laura Sheldon, Eric Lawson, Alan Duncan, Julieanne Horne, Rick Barta, Brendan Barry Cotter & David Roberts.
