Empire magazine is the number one film magazine in the UK with a circulation of nearly 200,000. The magazine is on sale right a round the world and there are also local Russian and Australian editions.
Every year the awards ceremony welcomes a stellar line up of guests. Last years star studded guest list included Russell Crowe, Viggo Mortensen, James McAvoy, Bond Girls - Gemma Arterton & Olga Kurylenko, Michael Sheen, Directors Danny Boyle, Paul Greengrass and Tim Burton, Gerard Butler, Sean Bean, Helena Bonham Carter and Guy Ritchie to name but a few.
The Done in 60 Seconds Competition
To further leverage this years awards Jameson has been working closely with Empire to create a global Done in 60 Seconds competition. The competition encourages budding directors or film enthusiasts to create 60-second versions of their favourite Hollywood blockbuster and upload it to www.empireonline.com or a local partner website.
The chosen 20 finalists have travelled to London for the Jameson Empire Awards Done in 60 Seconds party on Friday 26th March and the top 5 finalists will be selected at the party to attend the 2010 Jameson Empire Awards on 28th.

The Jameson Empire Awards will once again take place in London this Sunday (28th March) in The Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
Deemed by many in the industry to be the most fun awards in the British movie calendar, the Jameson Empire Awards attract A-list star-studded movie talent from around the globe.
Held in London each March, the Jameson Empire Awards celebrate the film industry's success stories of the year with Empire Magazine readers voting for the winners, making them the ultimate film fan awards with international profile.
For the second year running, Jameson is proud to support the Awards and the movie talent nominated therein. In particular, Jameson recognizes up and coming amateur film-making talent by sponsoring the Done in 60 Seconds Award - this year receiving entries from around the globe.
