Ausfilm, in conjunction with Film Victoria, Screen Australia and the Australian state screen agencies, will hold its inaugural two-day co-production event in London immediately prior to the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. The event will consist of:
Two or three targeted speed pitching sessions with UK producers and production companies; A session for producers and production companies to discuss possible creative partnerships around which to build projects and develop co-productions; a networking reception.
Through our Global Connections Business Support program we're providing the opportunity for up to four Victorian producers to attend this event. Funding will be in the form of a loan of up to $8,000 to cover the cost of attending the event, including flights and accommodation.
We're seeking applications from Victorian producers with a proven track record, with one or more feature film project in development that has the potential be made as either an official or unofficial co-production with an UK producing partner.
Deadline for applications is Friday, 18 March 2010.
