Magic Dirt are running their own Free 3 day festival known as FREAKSCENE at The Lakes Entrance in Victoria on the 19th | 20th | 21st Dec. As part of this they are running a Short Film Fest. Entry to the Short Film Fest is open to everyone & all films up to 20 minutes in length & includes all genres.
Entries must be received on DVD by Dec 15th.
Entry to the film fest is free. The prizewinner will co-write & direct an upcoming Magic Dirt filmclip. If you’d like to submit a film for consideration and possible inclusion check Magic Dirt’s website magicdirt.com for full details & application forms.

MAGIC DIRT have teamed up with Victoria Rocks - Arts Victoria and the Lakes Entrance Summer Music Festival to create their own Freakscene Festival.
Freakscene runs over the weekend of December 19 – 21.
Everything happens at the Lakes Entrance Recreation Reserve, right in the heart of the pretty Gippsland seaside town, just 3 1/2 – 4 hours drive from Melbourne. Freakscene is a music festival, a short film festival and a series of workshops for musicians
