Gay Spiritual Leader, MARK ANTHONY LORD, is taking human rights and acceptance to the next level with LIBERATION 2010, which will take place at the JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE from April 8th-11th.
LIBERATION 2010 is a spiritual conference that will help people answer their own call to greatness without feeling alone by giving them the support and tools they need to be powerful and free as they step back into their own lives.
The mission for this first-ever LGBTQ, family & friends conference is to simply heal the world of homophobia through our own community, love, fun and acceptance.
"LIBERATION's mission is to empower individuals, create community and heal the world, not by blaming it or waiting for it to change, but by changing ourselves first. We must change the way we see the world before we can change the world." said Mark Anthony Lord.
The conference welcomes everyone with an open-mind and an open-heart, honoring all faiths and accepting all denominations. Workshops are offered on a variety of LGBT-oriented topics such as forgiveness, health & wellness, women's issues, advocacy, addictions, 12 steps, and parenting.
Mark Anthony Lord is set to host, along with August Gold of Sacred Center New York. Gold is a well-known writer and nationally recognized as one of today's most exciting and innovative spiritual speakers.
The conference also features a MAJOR surprise Recording Artist and many special guest speakers and performers including, Gay Hendricks (Author of The Big Leap), Byron Katie (Founder of The Work), Malidoma Som (Well-Known Author/Speaker of Ancient Wisdom), Jason & deMarco (Featured LOGO Artists), Charles Holt (Recording Artist / Theater Actor) and Lisa Ferraro (Singer-Songwriter as featured on ABC).

As a gay man, Lord's spiritual journey has led him to a personal mission to help heal the world of LGBT phobia.
