Seven Australian films selected for Pusan International Film Festival
The Pusan International Film Festival in Korea has selected six Australian feature films and an Australian short to screen in 2010.
Oranges and Sunshine (d: Jim Loach, w: Rona Munro, p: Emile Sherman, Camilla Bray, Iain Canning) will screen in the World Cinema section along with Dreamland (w/d: Ivan Sen, p: David Jowsey) and Wasted on the Young (w/d: Ben C Lucas, p: Janelle Landers, Aidan O'Bryan).
Pusan represents the world premiere of Oranges and Sunshine, the story of a social worker who uncovers the organised deportation of children in care from the United Kingdom to Australia. The film stars Emily Watson, David Wenham and Hugo Weaving.
