Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia
A workshop that will provides artists interested in the sci-art interface with a unique hands-on experience of laboratory practice.
The aim is to examine its application within an arts context. The program will give participants an introduction to a range of lab skills and encourage concepts relevant to bio-tech art, as well as broader ethical and philosophical concerns.
It will cover areas such as making media, chromatography and gene transference. Places are strictly limited. Send your name, contact details, a short paragraph about why you wish to attend the workshops and a one-page annotated CV to science@riaus.org.au
