Handy Manny
ALL ABOARD MICKEY'S CHOO CHOO EXPRESS
IN CINEMAS MAY 6
Mickey Mouse is no stranger to the big screen and on May 6, 2010 a special movie event for preschoolers and their families rolls exclusively into Village, Greater Union and Birch, Carroll & Coyle cinemas across Australia.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo Choo Express, has Mickey and his pals putting together the Clubhouse Choo Choo Train to help Professor Von Drake deliver loads of his special non-melting Easy Freezy Snow from Mistletoe Mountain to the Clubhouse so they can play in the snow year-round.
For a special price of $6 this special movie event will inspire youngsters with messages of teamwork, problem solving and adventure and includes a never-before-seen episode of Playhouse Disney favourite Handy Manny that will screen before the film.
The screening of Choo Choo Express is a first time initiative where we are bringing great Disney Channel content to the big screen. The screening time outside of the school holiday period, and an in-cinema experience for pre-schoolers will be an exciting opportunity for them to see the world's most popular Mouse on the big screen - for many youngsters it will be their first time to see Mickey at the cinema, say Alan Finney, Managing Director and Vice President, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Australia. Disney is committed to providing quality family entertainment experiences and this screening is an initiative that provides more options to see Disney Channel favourites like you have never seen them before and a great entertainment alternative for young families.
In addition, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo Choo Express will air on Playhouse Disney on Saturday, June 26, at 5 p.m. and will be available for purchase on Disney DVD on June 30, 2010.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse launched in May 2006 and airs every day on Playhouse Disney and has become a top-rated series with its target audience of preschool kids ages 2-5.
